Behind the scenes, each comment is stored once in an internal format, with the choices marked in it. You never see or type this — it's what the software works with. Report Complete fills in the right name, pronoun and verb for whichever child you're writing about — so you write a comment once and it reads correctly for all thirty. You never type the brackets yourself: you write the sentence as you always would, and they're added as you go.

There's a second reason for storing comments this way. Because the marked-up comment contains no child's name and no pronoun, it identifies nobody — so when AI helps draft a comment, nothing that could identify a pupil ever leaves our servers. The name is filled in afterwards, here, once the words come back.
